Four Steps To Perfect Skin

Without a doubt, you wash your face but is that really enough? There are some people that would say yes but many more would say no. In order to make sure that you have the glowing skin that you have always wanted, you want to make sure that you are following the four steps to perfect skin.

The first thing to do is to make sure that you are washing with a good cleanser that is geared towards your particular skin type. Stay away from the bar soaps and invest in something that is a healthy choice for the skin on your face.

Step number two would be to make sure that you exfoliate your skin once a week. Once you begin putting this into practice, you will almost notice an immediate difference. Whether you are going to a spa to get the expensive stuff or you find an inexpensive, yet effective exfoliation product at the department store, make sure that you are taking a little time out of your schedule once a week to get this done and you will not regret it.

The third step is to make sure that you properly moisturize your face. If you suffer from oily skin, you may believe that you should steer clear of moisturizer. The thing is though; every single skin type out there needs a good moisturizer. The trick is simply finding one for your specific type of skin.

The fourth step to perfect skin is to make sure that you are applying sunscreen everyday. Even in the winter, the sun can be harsh and by protecting your skin you will see that you will have less rough patches and fewer wrinkles.

As you can see, just a few short steps will bring beautiful skin in no time at all. You make sure to follow the tips consistently for everlasting beauty.

How To Exfoliate The Right Way

When it comes to exfoliation, not as many women remember to do this that should. Every woman needs to make sure that she is exfoliating at least once a week. Twice a week is the amount of times you need to do it in order to get the best results. You do want to make sure that you are not over doing it though as that could bring with it bad results. Buying cosmetics isn't that expensive any more, especially if you buy online, and the difference it can make is huge. When you exfoliate the right amount, your skin will have a more even tone and the texture will be firmer and softer. Since this is something that every woman wants, what are you waiting for?

When you begin, make sure that you are applying the beauty products to your dry or slightly damp skin in sweeping motions. You must be gentle and do not scrub extremely hard. Concentrate most of your time on the roughest parts of your body such as the heels, elbows, and knees. Also make sure that you are giving special attention to the inner thighs, the breasts, and top of your hands. Make sure that you are doing this on a weekly basis and right before you head out on vacation in the sun. This will ensure that you receive an even tan all over your body.

Those who are pregnant also want to make sure that they are exfoliating often as it will help to reinforce the skin and will allow the skin to stretch easier. And do not forget the base of the nails, as the exfoliation process will help them to be more beautiful and stronger. When it is all said and done you will take one look in the mirror and notice a new you. After just a few times exfoliating you will really be able to see a dramatic improvement and that will be very exciting.

Chin Up! For A Totally New You

A chin implant is usually undertaken by a patient in order to rectify a weak chin due to congenital deficiency, other age related bone problems or facial trauma. Chin implants are usually undertaken for cosmetic purposes, however not everyone having an impant is having the cosmetic surgery purely for cosmetis reasons. Many people are doing it as reconstructive enhancement. Cosmetic chin implant is usually done on the person for overall improvement of the facial expression and the facial structure. Chin implant, otherwise known as chin augmentation, is not a major surgery, yet has a lot of psychological risks associated with it. So in order to perform the chin implant surgery the surgeon must brief the patient about the post surgical period of the implant surgery as the recovery can be a slow process.

Chin implant surgery should be done by surgeons who are skilled, having good judgment and possessing a good aesthetic eye. The reason is that such types of surgery are performed on the face of the people who would like to speak to the world and portray their confidence and their zeal for living through their faces. Thus, for the greater majority it would result in disappointment and depression if the surgery is not performed properly. It is possible to buy insurance for this type of proceedure, much like you might buy car insurance or caravan insurance in case something were to go wrong with your vehical. However, you are far better of paying to extra money outright to ensure that you have a good surgeon in the first place, rather than paying for an insurance policy that you really don't want to use.

Chin implant surgery by itself takes only between 30 to 45 minutes, but the surgeon must first of all obtain the general health report of the patients. Although not a major operation the overall health of the patient should be good. The patient must be free from bone disorders. Again, he must not have used Accutane, a medicine for the treatment of acne, for at least six months. This is because the drug is believed to play some role in excess facial bone growth. Above all one must bear reasonable and realistic expectations of what the outcome of surgery would be. The best way to do it is to have a very realistic attitude towards the whole procedure especially where the underlying objective is purely cosmetic is nature.

All About Skin Tags

What is the most annoying skin condition known to man? Well, if you isolate conditions that cause physical harm or discomfort, you would probably have to narrow everything down to just one ailment: skin tags. What are they? Basically, skin tags are a type of tumor that gives the skin a very unattractive appearance. And, since they tend to be raised lesions, (like moles or keloids), makeup is completely useless.

In fact, skin tags are one of the few aesthetic conditions that cannot be safely cured at home. Oh, sure you may have heard of some remedies, such as burning, clotting or cutting, but all of these methods are not safe for laymen. This is because they carry a risk of hurting the healthy skin that surrounds the tag. And when this happens, you may experience worse problems, whether it’s infection, scarring or nerve damage.

So, if you want to remove skin tags, your best bet is to visit a dermatologist or, (depending on how bad they are), a cosmetic surgeon. Essentially, they will use the same methods recommended for home use. However, they will do it with precision, skill and sterile instruments. This lessens the chance that you will experience serious side effects.

As far as prevention, sadly there are no definitive solutions, mainly because the medical community doesn’t know how skin tags develop in the first place. The only thing they do seem to know is that they’re more likely to grow on areas of the skin that receive a lot of friction, (such as the underarms, the groin or the elbow). So, you can TRY to reduce skin tags by wearing loose clothing, or maybe even nothing at all when you’re in the privacy of your own bedroom. This will help air out the parts of your body that don’t get much exposure.

If that doesn’t work, and you can’t afford cosmetic surgery, you may have to try to cover up the tags with hair or clothing, (at least during the times that you’re out in public). And for romantic situations, don’t be afraid to use lingerie. It will cover up the tags while making you feel sexier.

Getting Rid of Dark Circles with Hylexin

Many women believe that if they sleep more, or stop working so much, they won’t get those annoying circles under their eyes. However, medical research has revealed that lack of sleep has nothing to do with dark circles. Instead, they are a result of a process called hemoglobin degradation. What happens is that the capillaries around the eyes leak blood. As a result, the area underneath the eye develops a bruise, which is better known as the dark circle.

To get rid of dark circles, you’re going to have to stop hemoglobin degradation in its track. Sleeping or relaxation won’t do this. At most, all that will do is eliminate eye redness– a problem that is not related to dark circles. No– to get rid of dark circles, you’re going to need to use a beauty product. And one of the best is Hylexin.

How does Hylexin work? Basically, the cream optimizes enzymatic activity, which reduces the likelihood that your capillaries will experience hemoglobin degradation to begin with. It also strengthens your eyes blood vessels, providing an extra level of protection against the hemoglobin degradation process.

Sound interesting? Well, before you make a purchase, you should know that Hylexin is one of the most expensive out of the other beauty products, as it costs £65.88, (or $95 U.S. dollars). Most skin creams in the U.K. range from £6.93 to £34.67. So, you will have to make a bit of an investment, especially if you plan on making Hylexin as part of your beauty routine. If you buy cosmetics online you could probably get it a little cheaper, but having looked into this myself you aren't going to get it that much cheaper than it retails for in the shops. It may be a good product, but it is an expensive one as well.

However, sometimes it’s worth spending a little extra money if you’re going to get good results. And by the numerous amount of testimonials associated with Hylexin, you can pretty much guarantee you will get results with the product.

In conclusion, you no longer have to be embarrassed at having dark circles. With Hylexin, you’ll be able to get rid of raccoon eyes forever!

Reasons to quit smoking while pregnant

Everyone knows that you are suppose to quit smoking while you are pregnant. It is just one of those things that they tell you to do.

Stop drinking, eat healthy, take a vitamin and quit smoking. Yet still you see pregnant women smoking all the time. We need to educate
these woman on the reasons not to smoke. It is pretty common knowledge that smoking causes low birthrate in babies, or tends to
call colic in babies after they are born, but there are many more serious reasons for quitting smoking while pregnant.

1. Miscarriage or still born - Woman who smoke tend to be less fertile
than non-smokers. It is harder for them to get pregnant and once
pregnant their chances of staying pregnant are lower. There is a
higher chance of a miscarriage or delivering a still born baby.

2. Preterm Labor - Our bodies try and protect us from our bad habits.
One way it will try and protect your baby from smoking is by trying
to end your pregnancy sooner. However, babies born early have a
greater risk of complications. The sooner the baby is born the more
likely of serious complications, like mental retardation and cerebral
palsy.

3. Placenta Abruption - A smoker's placenta is thinner than normal,
making it more susceptible to abruption. This is when the placenta
pulls off the wall of the uterus before or during labor. When this
happens the baby needs to be born immediately.

4. Placenta Previa - The thin placenta causes another problem. It is
more likely to cover the cervix. This will cause bleeding during the
pregnancy. There is a higher rick of hemorrhage of mother and baby.

5. Respiratory Infections and other sickness - Second hand smoke is
worse for your baby than it is for you. Your baby will likely have
respiratory infections and develop things like asthma and other
respiratory problems. You are setting your child up for a lifetime of
minor sickness because you can't quit smoking.

6. Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) - SIDS is something every
parent worries about. It is an unexplained reason for your baby to
die. The distressing thing is that babies that are born from smokers
are more likely to die from SIDS.

Smoking while pregnant is serious. The majority of things that can
happen to your baby can end in death. It is more than just having a
low birth weight baby, or maybe a baby that cries a lot. It might be a bit
headache
for you, but put your baby's health first and quit smoking.

Mary Kay Waterproof Mascara

As a stay at home mom, I don't get a chance to wear make-up all that often. (My kids just don't appreciate a made up face like they should). However, when I do wear make-up I have learned the valuable lesson of "you get what you pay for." I have spent hundreds of dollars on drugstore make-up over my make-up wearing lifetime and as I've matured, so has my taste in make-up.

Mascara is a staple in my make-up bag. It is amazing how simply darkening your eyelashes can make your face look brighter, your eyes sparkle and your wrinkles lighter. Now just as mascara can make you look great, the wrong mascara can make you look terrible! Everyone has seen the awful raccoon eyes or the clumpy tarantula eyes.

With that said, I have found Mary Kay Waterproof Mascara to be my favorite. It is reasonable priced for a nice name-brand makeup. You can buy it for $10 from your local Mary Kay consultant, or check on Ebay or other online stores and get it cheaper. It comes in brown or black and it is waterproof. Mary Kay makes other styles of mascara that are not waterproof, but again, as a mom, I never know when I'll be hit with a water balloon, have a finger poked in my eye, or just might randomly cry! So I find waterproof mascara to work best for me. The Mary Kay Waterproof mascara claims to be water-proof, tear-proof and humidity-proof. It also has a "Smart Wiper" technology that puts on exactly the amount needed without clumping up your eyelashes. I'm not really sure how this works, but I know that my eyelashes never have that clumpy look when I wear this mascara.

I highly recommend Mary Kay Waterproof Mascara to anyone that is values a good waterproof mascara, for a busy lifestyle.

Treat Your Skin To The Best Antioxidant Skin Care Methods

Keeping your skin young and beautiful is not as hard as you
might think. One way to do this is to use proper antioxidant
skin care. There are many products out there full of
antioxidants to help nourish and protect your skin from everyday
living, in fact, antioxidants play an indispensable role in skin
care. We will explore exactly what this role is as well as
introduce a few products and methods that you can use in your
daily skin care regimen.

Our skin is exposed to what is know as free radicals everyday
which include but are certainly not limited to UV rays,
pesticides and chemicals, cold weather and even your tap water.
We could improve our skin care dramatically just by avoiding
exposure to free radicals, however, this is not always that
easy. Our second option would be to use antioxidant rich skin
care products. These products destroy free radicals and
actually improve the skin and some of which are listed below.

Antioxidant Serums are quite powerful and have proven to only
benefit the skin. These serums actually fight free radicals
while repairing collagen damage. They offer sunscreen
protection as well as vitamins and minerals. You can find
numerous antioxidant serums such as green tea, red tea and
Vitamin E and C enriched formulas. You can find these serums
easily at your local drugstore in the cosmetic aisle.

Your diet is an essential part of your antioxidant skin care.
Include foods with more Vitamin E such as whole grains, walnuts,
almonds, sesame and sunflower seeds, pasta, avocados and peanut
butter. Vitamin E minimizes wrinkles and loose skin. It fights
free radical damage which promotes aging skin. Vitamin C is
another essential antioxidant that should be included in your
diet. Your body cannot store Vitamin C in useful quantities so
you must consume it daily. This antioxidant creates new
collagen
and elastin in your skin. Foods such as oranges,
grapefruit, tomatoes and other citrus fruits offer larger
quantities of this antioxidant.

Avocados which are high in Vitamin A make a great sunscreen,
however should not be substituted for regular sunscreen when out
in the sun for long periods of time. Mash up this fruit and
apply to your skin for many variety of skin disorders such as
rashes, rough skin as well as a suncreen.

If you cannot find a more natural approach to add to your
antioxidant skin care
, you can always try lotions. There are
several lotions out there high in antioxidants to that fights
free radicals and leaves skin healthy, smooth and youthful
looking. When shopping for these types of lotions, you want to
choose lotions that are high in Vitamin E which naturally
reduces the appearance of wrinkles as well as age spots. You
can find these lotions in any local drugstore, grocery store or
cosmetic store.

Keeping your skin young and smooth has its trial and error. By
choosing foods and products high in antioxidants and following
the tips above in addition to your normal skin care regimen, you
should be well on your way to soft, healthy skin.
